July 2025 and May 2026 · British Red Cross · Internal keynote

Olivia Campbell-Cavendish delivered a keynote on intersectionality and law for the British Red Cross’s Intersectional Staff Network in July 2025, returning for a further session in May 2026. The engagement forms part of her invited speaking work for professional and institutional audiences.

The focus was practical; race, sex, disability, class and gender identity can interact to shape whether a person is believed, whether a service is accessible and whether a remedy works. Yet section 14 of the Equality Act 2010, intended to address combined discrimination, has still not been brought into force. For organisations, intersectional analysis is therefore a method of testing policy against real patterns of access, reporting, progression and trust.
