July 2025 and July 2026 · Trans Pride Brighton · Public address

At Trans Pride Brighton in July 2025, Olivia Campbell-Cavendish delivered an address before the march set off. She returned as a speaker in 2026, continuing a programme of public legal commentary across community and national stages.

The address connected legal equality with the conditions required to exercise it: physical safety, access to services, freedom of assembly and confidence that institutions will apply the law fairly. Pride in less an alternative to legal action. It was treated as public participation... communities assembling, giving evidence about their circumstances and making visible the practical consequences of policy.
