This Is Not a Debate: a lecture at King's College London

The King’s College London Law Council invited Olivia Campbell-Cavendish to deliver a lecture at the Strand campus under the title This Is Not a Debate: Transphobia Endangers Us All. The lecture treated transphobia not as an abstract cultural controversy, but as a question of legal protection, institutional responsibility and personal safety. The analytical discipline is familiar: distinguish protected expression from unlawful discrimination or harassment; identify the duty engaged; and assess the practical effect of institutional policy. The purpose was to subject abstract rhetoric to accurate legal analysis.
